The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has officially launched an online application portal for international passports to streamline and simplify the passport application process for Nigerians both within and outside the country. The passports are available in two categories for Nigerian and diaspora applicants.
For Nigerian applicants seeking passports with a validity period of 5 years and containing 32 pages, the required fee is N25,000.00. Those who prefer passports with a longer validity period of 10 years and containing 64 pages will need to pay N70,000.00.
Overseas applicants who desire passports with a validity period of 5 years and 32 pages are required to pay $130, while applicants who prefer passports with a validity period of 10 years and 64 pages will need to pay $230.
